How does membership work?
When you sign up to become a member, you will be billed £50 and a recurring subscription will be set up which will automatically bill you £50 every calendar month. This membership allows you to attend all of our regular sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays at no additional charge, among various other perks.
Regular Attendence Reward!
That’s right - if you attend regularly, you get an additional reward. If you attend at least 6 sessions in a calendar month, at the end of that month you will receive a £10 refund on your subscription payment for that month.
One month off
We understand that of course people go on long holidays, move house or otherwise need time off. Once per calendar year let us know you won’t be about that month and we’ll refund your payment once it comes in (sadly the system doesn’t allow us to skip a payment). You are still a member and will get advanced notice of events etc. but you will not pay that month, and you may not attend any sessoins that month. This is not a month of free lessons, it’s a month to take a break and not have to worry about payments.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time, either via your account here or by contacting us. You can still attend sessions up until when your next payment would have been. If you cancel your Membership, and later want to rejoin this will be subject to our approval and we may require you to pay an additonal £50 if you did not cancel for good reason or without informing us. Some of what we consider good reasons:
- Health/Medical issue that stopped you from training
- Temporary work/study placements
- Temporary loss of income
- Failed recurring payment
We are often happy to work with committed members to try and keep you training through difficult times, so please contact us if you are canceling but would overwise like to keep doing HEMA, and we can try and come to an arrangement that works for everyone.
