Join us for 5 weeks in our introductory course, starting on 19/08/26!

Lessons are held from 19:00 - 21:00, in the Main Hall at Partick Burgh Halls.

During the course yopu will learn the fundamental mechanics of historic swordfighting. This will mean learning the important body mechanics needed for historic fighting as well as the basics of our two focuses, German Longsword and Scottish Broadsword.

In the final week you will be introduced to sparring, finalising the groundwork for your continued journey into HEMA.

The first 4 sessions will be on Wednesdays (19/08, 26/08, 02/09, 09/09)
The final session will be on Thursday 17th September
All the equipment you need will be provided.
At the end of the course you will have a chance to join the club.
You must attend every lesson in the course to be eligible to join the club at the end, if you miss a lesson for some unavoidable reason we can dicuss catcing you up, though this may incur additional costs.
